Located in the luxurious residential area in Bunkyo, Nakasei Uchimise entices many wagyu beef and steak fans.  The restaurant initially started out as a butcher shop specialising in beef, similar to the origins of Niku no Mansei.  However, Nakasei Uchimise has since developed into a must-try restaurant, and one of the best fine dining steakhouse options in Tokyo.

So, you may ask: What is their secret?  There is more than one, of course.  Firstly, they combine European-style grilling with Hyogo first class black wagyu, including the renowned Kobe steak.  Secondly, each serving can be selected in the butcher shop out front before being served in the Nakasei Uchimise in the back.  Thirdly, not only are different cuts available, but guests can also choose the Wagyu's maturity.  Essentially, methodology meets quality meets variety!  And don't forget to check out their extensive wine list.  Experiment pairing your wagyu with different wines and vintages to find the best match!
