National Museum of Nature and Science

Located in Ueno Park, this is Japan’s only integrated national science museum. With about 14,000 items on display, the museum houses two permanent exhibits – Japan Gallery and Global Gallery, introducing the natural sciences in Japan and the rest of the world.Featured items include stuffed body of Hachiko (a famous faithful dog) and real-scale fossil of a triceratops.
